Started printing Reimi; Ichigo progress update

I have started printing Reimi now. Her outside is basically unchanged from the last post. The hotend on one of my printers isn't holding the temperature correctly, so I am down a printer at the moment. I have ordered a new heater for it (the new heater block uses a cartridge heater, whereas the old one has nichrome wire coated in ceramic; I have had a lot of problems with nichrome heater cores, and a cartridge heater should be more reliable). Hopefully it will arrive soon.

I have now got the general shape of Ichigo OK for the most part, but there is still quite a bit that needs changing (the chin needs to be moved forwards a bit, the mouth shape from the side needs to be adjusted, and the back edge needs to be leveled, among other things).

I have started on a full custom of Mew Ichigo. I am still in the process of getting the rough shape right (Ichigo has a rather different face shape than Erika or Reimi), so the model is kind of a mess at the moment.

I believe I am now pretty much done with the outside of Reimi. I moved her eyes a bit further apart and adjusted the shape of her mouth a bit. I have started drawing her eyes so I can superimpose them on the model in order to get an idea of what she'll look like when printed.

Taste of Animethon 2014

I kigged at Taste of Animethon (which is a smaller winter version of Animethon). It was quite a bit smaller than the summer cons, and there were fewer places for taking pictures. This was the first public outing for the new version of Erika. I still have some more photos to post.

As far as mask maing goes, I've started on a full custom of Mew Ichigo for ryuga_knight from KCS. I am still working on the outline for checking the shape and haven't started on the model yet. Also, I am still tweaking Reimi although I think I am nearly done on the outside. I'll post updates soon.
